I've noticed that my vaio has some trouble with certain blu ray movies (Casino Royale, Apacalypto). It both WinDVD and PowerDVD say that the region is wrong, however it plays in my PS3 just fine. I would like to take advantage of this gorgeous Sony screen. Any idea how to get these running?

My FZ came from the factory without the region code set on the drive. To set it, start up WinDVD, go to the Video Center, click the little gear for setup, and click the Region tab. There you should find a pull-down item to choose DVD Title BD Title. Change it to BD title, and then set your region code.

My region is set to US... Its just that it reads my US blurays as something else... like I said the PS3 plays them perfectly... I have the latest patches and everything
