Just looking for some quick adivice. I love the Sony Vaios; mostly because they look great and have a reputation for having superior screens. That being said, I am looking to buy a laptop now to replace a 6.5 year old desktop. Most likely, this new computer will sit right where the old one is now, but I want to be able to move it around the house and take it with us on infrequent trips (hence why I am not replacing with another desktop). Here are my uses:

office appliacations (office, word, and money)
Adobe photoshop and premiere (elements version)
    internet/email
    itunes
maybe tv watching through internet (or locationfree)

That is about it. I know it is pretty basic, but I seem to keep my computers for awhile and want this one to last. I like the idea of the 18 inch screen, though not sure if I need to be spending another $600-800 to get it.

I called sonystyle today and they are still willing to include the locationfree with a customized laptop, so I feel a little pressure to make the decision today and buy direct from them. Is the locationfree all it's cracked up to be?

    Thanks everyone!
