Despite having a respectable WEI of 5.3 in Windows 7 I've always felt this AW was somewhat slow and prone to using the disk a lot. Is it down to the 5400rpm drives fitted ? Has anyone replaced these successfully to good advantage ? I started off using Vista x32 and now on Windows 7 x64 - same sort of results.

For example I find my 2 year old Dell M90 much nippier
