    AW120j running extremely hot...

    Not sure why, but my 13 month old laptop has just started running really hot lately. It froze completely the other day while playing Battlefield 2 on it...

    here's a screenshot of the temps it's reading coming from 2 different programs...

    time to do some cleaning on the fan and the vent? if you dont know how to disassemble the notebook for cleaning, send to the service center.

    On the contrary... it's been a GREAT notebook the entire time I've had it. Just recently it started to run really hot.

    I'm gonna try and see if I can figure out how to pull it apart and clean the vent and see if that helps...

    pulling it apart right now. Seems I'm only missing one screw to loosen. Though I can't locate it, and it seems to be under the "magic gate" panel, but there is no way to take that apart... :confused:

    nevermind... figured it out. Man this thing was completely blocked off with dust! YIKES!

    wow.... ok, well after pulling it apart, I found this. Needless to say, after some cleaning the computer is running WAY cooler now. I'll post up the results, but for now heres some pics...
