Hi! Well, Im going to spain this summer and I've found a deal I won't find here in mexico. It is
Sony Vaio VGN-SZ1M/B (Intel Core Duo T2300 1.66GHz, 512MB, 80GB, TFT 13.3", DVD±RW(DL), WLAN, XP Home.)
Specs are fine for me, I've got Media Center Edition CD's and I can buy ram appart. (is the HD 4200 rpm or 5200?)
All for 1360 Euros + taxes. I'll have my taxes back when I leave spain.
And I also saw this product Sony Vaio Plus 2 years more (a total of 3 ) of warranty. My question is, Is the warranty international(there is Sony here, and there is vaio SZ in mexico)? the warranty is 200 Euros, is it worth it?
Another question, What settings will this run BF2 (well, with more ram) ?
And another question, how much battery life you get? Writting, surfing, doing normal stuff? Gaming? listening to music? Thanks

If it is possible buy the Sony Overseas Warrenty if it covers your country. Othewise, Sony warrenties only cover the laptop if they are returned to that country for repair. I have tried this with my SZ90 (Japanese warrenty) to see if I could get covered here in Chile, but Sony won't do it.
