The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    About windows media center!

    I don't know if it because i turned off some service(but i have turned on all services of WMC), the music library can't be set up and i always get a message like"a necessary component of windows media ceter is currently not available".

    So is there anyone who knows about this problem and could you post one capture of all your services to show me which is supposed to turned on?
    Thx a lot!!BTW my laptop is fw290.
