    Hey Guys,
I was hoping someone would be able to help me out here. I was faced the the "black screen of death" a few days ago. I was told by Sony to use the back up partition to restore my computer to the original version when I bought it. For some reason I cannot get it to work. My computer will not load Vista cd, Vista 64bit recovery, the only thing it'll load is Linux Slax. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I can restore my computer with my recovery partition?? I'm hoping I can get it working some other way. Also I cannot back up my files and folders in linux as well, although I am able to view them. It wont let me transfer them to my external hard drive.
