I have problems with Photoshop, or other Adobe CS2 products crashing on my SZ (no problems on my desktop). Only other applications that may be running when this happens are Outllook, Excel, Word, or IE6. I have 2GB memory.

If I reboot, I am usually okay. Any thoughts on why this would this be happening?
    thx

how large are the files you are trying to work with. i often run cs2 and lightroom side by side without any problems--sometimes slow but never crashing. this was when i was only at 1.5gb or ram with a core duo t2400 processor. upgrading to 2gb of ram sped things up a bit and i'll have a new processor in there soon to help a bit more,

maybe reintall cs2 or get some updates and see if that helps.

Thanks for the response. This happens sometimes when I just open photoshop, so I don't think it is a memory issue. I have done the updates. I wondered if my antivirus could be a factor. Using nod32(work required).
