    Hi Guys

    This is my first post, although I have been having a good read through some of the threads.

    I had a HP DV7 9667 :mad: , it broke within a few months and they were incapable of fixing it (sure it was only a connector between base and screen but they replaced pretty much every other component to no avail) they sent me an inferior replacement (hoping i wouldn't notice) and then had no stock of the three altenative models that i would have accepted. Hence i am awaiting a refund!

    Obviousley i will NOT be buying another HP and after carefull consideration and experiences of friends and family i have narrowed my search down to a Vaio - my question os which one!

    I have £950 coming back from HP but wouldn't mind having a bit of change going into Christmas, therefore I am looking at:
    FW11E
    AR71M (maybe S)

    I want a reasonable size screen as it is intended as a desktop replacement and quality / speed is essential within the core components. I am not a gamer or graphic designer and really just want something that will match up with the Pavillion (but not break :D ) My old one had Lightscribe, but lets just say the novelty wore off - FAST!

    Any help advice, or other models to throw into the mix would be very much appreciated.
