    Hey guys..

I've been considering a Z series for a while now and the Sony store in my area is clearing out a couple of display units, and amongst them are the Z590njb and the Z691y.

My question is : what are the main differences between each iteration of the Zseries laptops? spec-wise, the Z590 seems to be pretty well outfitted (2.53/4gb RAM/250gb/bluray). I haven't been able to find a definite answer regarding physical differences - even the Sony salesperson wasn't really able to give me a clear answer.

Also, is there any reason I should avoid the 5xx series against the newer 6/7/8 series Zs, besides the massive price difference and the age?

and i add info for Z8xx:

    Z8xx: Black palmrest; "Official" 7 64-bit support; 8GB Max. RAM; ??? WWAN.

I live outside US so WWAN is not for me =)

IMHO Software differenece doesn't make sense, you can install any OS on any model. so the difference is
    -WWAN provider
    -Palmrest
-Max RAM supported.(However, there's thread howto make Z6xx support 8GB)
