    Hello.

A few days ago sony replaced mobo in my BZ model, because there was a problem with onboard GPU chip.

Now I am unable to do a system recovery with my discs that were made from the same laptop before sending it to repair. I also noticed BIOS was upgraded, but I doubt this is the case.

Any ideas from you guys, because sending it back will take days again :/

It might have helped if you described the problem in more details than "unable to".

Sorry, it says recovery is not for this system. same error if I would try to recover AR serie laptop with a disk from AW serie.

Look in the BIOS and see what model the machine thinks it is now. It sounds as if the BIOS is now identifying the machine as a slightly different model. If so contact Sony and tell them you need a new set of recovery disks for the NEW model designated.

I checked, and its the same model.

What will i try now, is to get the .wim from recovery discs and apply it manually and the apply SW manually too.

But its so strange this happens...i wonder what kinda protection sony uses with their recovery discs...
