I had a one month old ASUS that was just sent off today for repairs. I will get it back maybe Friday or next week forsure. I picked up a VAIO to try out in the meantime, not expecting at all to keep it, in fact was planning on just using it since I wouldnt have a computer without my ASUS here, and refunding it in the 2 weeks time. But man oh man, I am IN LOVE with this thing. I dont know if I will be able to get rid of it right now.

Everything about it, the screen (its true, once you use tru-brite, you wont go back), Sony is on a whole new level than everyone else when it comes to LCD, nobody compares. The keyboard is kick ass, finally one that feels solid and does not flex. Amazing keys, love how they are thinner than other laptops so the travel distance in each keystroke is much shorter than other keyboards. Anyone notice this? It results in much more effortless, comfortable typing. The look, what can I say...sure it would look better if it was all black, but theres just something about the look of the white (just like with ipods) they stand out. Oh, and having the 4-letter name doesnt hurt either :p Im loving it, and the build quality is absolutely delicious right now, feels very solid. Oh, and you got to love just how thin this thing is, wow. Its amazing.

Definitely a head turner dont you think?

So ya, LOL Im really lovin it. Oh, and I better decide which one im keeping real quick, because if i were to keep the sony, I would like to get the ext warranty and I have only 3 more days to do it. Its $329 from where I bought it for 2yrs on top of the original 1yr through sony, making it 3yrs total. I paid $1200 for this laptop. So do you think that is reasonably priced? or bit high?

I need to decide quick, thats why I need as many peoples expertise... :) thanks!!
