It was part of their weekly deal last week. All Vaios in the outlet were an additional 20% off at checkout.

But how is this possible ? I frequently searching Outlet for Z series. I could find one with same specs for 2700 USD not 1700 USD. How is it possible ? Is there still any Z series for that price or 128 GB SSD for 999 USD ?

I could not find any for that prices, if you can could you please send me a link.

    Thank you.

Unfortunately, that means you're not searching frequent enough. I was putting the $1700 one that maven mentioned in my cart, but after unsuccessful negotiations with Sony rep to drop the price, I deleted my cart, and somebody must have snatched it up.

Also, I got a $1000 Vaio Z deal with Metal Shield lid, 1080p, 8GB, i5-540M, and 128GB, so I'm not intent on paying $1700 for an upgrade that I don't need. @ $1330 I might be tempted, but at $1700, no way...

The Z's weren't there until the sale was over. Their weekly deal sales end on Saturdays at 7:00pm Est. The Z's were not posted into their site until Sunday 1:00am Est, bit that's still Saturday for those of us on the west coast.

Sunday's seem to be the refresh day for the outlet.
