    Was told that there are a couple of Z690 notebooks with 1366 x 768 resolutions. Is this possible?

    The only Z600 series currently available with the 1366x768 screen is the "Best Buy exclusive," VGN-Z610Y/B.

    Yup, Sony decided to simplify the Z series line with only having one screen option available now.

    Well, makes sense from their point of view. Too bad it's not like the Z540 / Z590 from before.

    Glad I picked up a 540 when they were available. In Canada, the Z610 is not available.

    The Z620 and Z670 also have 1366 x 768 screens, which you can buy from Amazon.

    Amazon is probably wrong. Sony's own specifications (both the market specification on Sony Support and the B2B specs that SpeedwithJJ posted) all say Z620/650/670 have 1600x900.

    Maybe it's a good time to sell my Z540 with a premium for those interested in 1366x768? :p
