i wanted to change some settinggs for my touchpad, but i cant seem to launch the .exe. It used to show up on the lower right of the screen, then i closed it, and it never wants to show up again. I see it is working in the task manager, but i cant access the program. Do i have to reinstall? and does the driver file from sony's site contain the program or just the driver? I have an sz730

Can't you access it via Control Panel and Mouse?

Or from the Vista Start menu search for "Mouse"

ok excellent. the mouse option works. I was trying to use touchpad which would not open.

also for future install, does the ALP driver install the program as well, or is it like the UPEK which has a driver and protector suite software seperate?

    thanks mujja

Yes, install the mouse application too so can can adjust the settings. A few of the drivers do that like the Intel and nVidia video drivers.

I like to install the drivers without running the setup.exe program if included and if Window is able to control the hardware without the appliation, i.e. WLAN drivers.
