    I guess I did :)

I missed out on the Lenovo pricing error (when the 128GB SSD was a $0 upgrade). I guess I got lucky on this one.

Still can't figure out why it states the Z520 is a pre-order item... Maybe they ran out of stock?

    1366x768.

That res doesn't bother me. It would be nice to have the 1600x900 but not for the price Sony wants for the Z590!

Thats awesome price for the specs and how much it would cost if you directly bought it from Sonystyle!!

Congrats! thats the cheapest for the spec I have seen it yet!

    I know it - 3GB DDR3, P8400, 250GB HDD (I'll probably swap it with a 7200RPM seagate that I have laying around)....

    I also didn't want a CTO - I wanted a Z series that was assembled in Japan :)

I heard the only two models that are assembled in San Diego are the Z540 and Z590. Is this correct?

I watched the price of a Sony VGN-SZ691N/X change. First it was $2,499 than it dropped to $1,386 and I was wondering if something was wrong with that model so I watched another week or so. Than it dropped to $1,286 and stayed there for 2 days so I bought it. Checking other sites and eBay I started wondering if I should order two or more and sell them on eBay but I didn't have the nuts so I just bought one. 1 day after I received mine at $1,286 the price went back to $2,399. Now it is $2,1xx. I check back often, looking for pricing mistakes.

Seems as though amazon is always going through some changes and you can find a deal at certain times as opposed to others.. Seems like you pulled a fast one for the moment but will probably not be the best deal you see for that comp overall..
