    Is this normal? I ordered the top of the line SZ and they haven't even ship the item yet. They kept posponing till now. I don't know if the $200 rebate has to do anything but I think Sony might getting rid of all their stocks. or could it be something else happening soon? Amazon has been good till this PC mayhem.

    When you ordered the PC did the Amazon website say that it was in stock? I've noticed that they still don't have the FE890 (i.e., the site says to order now for delivery when it arrives - no thanks!). I would put in a call to customer service and find out what is happening. That's ridiculous.

    I THINK you are normal still. Sony is shipping a few of their SZ4XX models, but I do not think that many 3rd party vendors are receiving regular stocks yet. I know that they are still very hard to come by at CompUSA and BestBuy. If can still go to Amazon and check your order status and it claims to still be pending shipment, I would bet that is exactly what is happening. Amazon is still waiting to receive their inventory. Give us a review when you get your laptop.

    At first I was gonna go with the non-premium lid version. It indicated that I needed to wait till mid Feb to have it shipped to me. So I went ahead with the top end model. At first the delivery date was the next day. Then they revised after I placed on order. In mid Feb they send me an email about new delay. Are they pullin the shaft?
