You are buying a ticking time bomb! It has Nvidia 8000 M series GPU which will fail after one year of use!

Don't buy it. Avoid at all cost! Avoid all notebooks with Nvidia 8000 M Series.

I would advice not buying it. This model is discontinued by Sony. More newer models are out there. Consider the FW series.

It has good reviews because the bomb won't go off until after one year of use. Don't take the risk. Read the link in my original message.

You can take risk, if you are lucky not to get the defective nvidia card.

Overstock.com is a terrible place to buy a new laptop (overpriced/discontinued/refurbished!). If I were you I would sell the gift card on ebay and buy a laptop from somewhere else...

There are some notebooks in your link that cost less than 800 bucks and don't use Nvidia 8000 M Series.

For now. All the Nvidia 8000 series chips are ticking time bombs. Yours and mine included. Tick. Tick. Tick.

Just stay away from any of them with the Nvidia 8000 series chips and you will be fine.
