    Hello there

    Does anyone know if Sony have any plans to release a 15.4" WSXGA Laptop. I've been looking around for one, and It seems that only Samsung and Acer do them in the UK. I cant believe that Sony havent produced one yet. Surely they must have plans for one.

    Any info greatfully recieved.

    In addition to Acer and Samsung, I think Dell offers the E1505 with a WSXGA in the UK.

    WSXGA? You're saying the FE's new screen isn't good enough? It's just been upgraded! Buy from Sonystyle.com to ensure that you get the upgraded version!

    But even the new FE's screen doesnt have 1600x1020 WSXGA or what ever it is.

    Thats what I need because i wanna use primarily for After Effects Work. Thanks for the suggestions though. The dell is a little too heavy i think as i'm gonna be carrying it quite a bit.

    sony VAIOs in japan are known to have higher res than their US counterparts. my VAIO FS-70B has a 1680x1050 res compared to the US version of FS550 which only had a 1280x800 res.
