    It seems to me, by the lack of discussion ,this might be a very new model. Im a happy FZ owner that has a younger sister in the market for a college student laptop. The NR specs look good for 849. Can any owners give me a review? Anyone know anything the spec sheet might be hiding? Thanks

    Yes, it is new.

    Not a user yet, but am considering it like you. Have had hands on time with it in a Sony Store and it seems very solid, has a sleek simple design and the color choices are great (nightfall blue is very nice). Only drawback...no webcam or integrated bluetooth, which is ok considering the build quility and very nice screen as well as price/performance ratio.

    personally, i like the NR. looks sleek and stylish but also has great price. def. look into getting if tight on cash.
