    Any chance SR getting hybrid graphics?

    i would really hate it if i got my sr now and later sony puts hybrid graphics in the SR. Cause i game but not all the time and battery life is kinda important to me.

    IMO it would be very unlikely.. Sony wants you to buy the Z if you want switchable graphics, or a better screen.. :/

    The Z is more money. Therefor it's going to have some extra features(i.e. better screen, hybrid graphics). I highly doubt they are going to put hybrid graphics in the SR anytime soon unless the price increases.

    Z has SWITCHABLE graphics, not hybrid graphics.

    ...is there even anything that uses the new hybrid SLI/Crossfire yet anyways?

    hybrid graphics = switchable graphics

    they are the same thing aren't they?

    They can be. However, the new N series from Asus says hybrid graphics, but it doesn't switch. All it does is decrease or increase power based on what your doing.
