    Any comments on Vaio SA 3 screen in sunlight?

    Hi.

    I am thinking about the SA 3 and the only problem I hear about it is the screen. I can live with small viewing angle and the washed out color will not bother me.

    However I will be using this laptop outdoors and even in direct sunlight. Have any of you tried this?

    Yes. There is an extremely slight "hazy" effect over the screen (matte screen film), but it's rather viewable. To test, I am typing this message with the sun almost directly behind me (California).

    Since July or so. I like it. I don't really know what to say about the laptop. The SA is about the most powerful 13" you can find anymore. Its battery it lucky to reach 5:30 in real office/web use, but that's really all I have to say on the laptop.
