I see that the Core 2 Duo's have arrived and they are pin-compatable with the Core Duo systems. I have a sz150p w/ a 1.8 Core Duo, I want to swap it out for something faster of the core 2 flavor... has anyone tried to do this w/ their sz before? I am guessing since Sony wants to suck every dollar from us, there is probablysomething in the bios that checks to see if i have the prescribed cpu or something before it boots right? Anyone tried? And is it simple to swap out the cpu?

I honestly don't think it is worth the trouble or money.
