Do u think 13'' SZ is not comfortable to view for a long time? In fact, I have to spend at least 10 hours/day in front of laptop. So for me screen 14'' is just perfect. So anybody know Sony would release new model with screen 14'' and coreduo intel this year?
    Thanks for advice.

Sony plays it pretty close to the vest. They do have an event on the 15th though, so it's possible something will be announced there.

If you are looking for a desktop replacement, I would go with an even larger 15.4 or 17 incher. If portability is a concern, I would certainly have no problem recommending an SZ with the 13.3". A 14" will likely not have higher resolution, so the only thing you would really gain is larger font. I personally find the 13.3 on the SZ very easy to look at for long periods, but I don't use it for anywhere near 10 hrs, but 4-5hrs I have done often with no problems.

But for those who used to use 14'' or more, do feel much different?

Well, my work laptop is a Dell D600 14", but the display runs at a higher resolution, like 1400x1050 or something close to that, and is not a wide screen format. Because of that, the fonts are actually smaller than on the SZ, so I find the SZ easier to look at, even though it has a little less desktop real estate. What screen are you used to using? 14" could equate to about 4 distinctly different screen experiences.

it's all relative though, if you look at things. I have a 27inch viewsonic as my primary monitor. Makes you enjoy have all that space, and i thought the screen on the Sz was a tad to small. Happy with my 15.4 inch Sony Fe. Weight must be nice for the SZ, but i don't travel enough that i would reap the benefit.

I agree with JBalla. It depends on what you'll be using the laptop for and if portability is an issue. The FE is considerably light compared to other 15.4in notebooks, and I enjoy the wider xbrite screen.
