So I've heard that the Sony Vaio SE only supports SATA II because Sony forgot to enable SATA III in the bios.

I am on BIOS R2084H4 and am looking to update to R2087H4. Just wondering if this even does anything worthwhile, not much info on this BIOS update.

I've also heard only way to unlock advanced settings is to unlock the BIOS, which someone posted, but removed them because they didn't listen to instructions. I would mostly like some insight on if I should update or not.

What improvements do you expect with an unlocked BIOS?
