    Am thinking of upgrading my system (Z590) to new SSD lappy. Any promos or codes going on that will allow me to save anything? Even on a double cap battery?

    Yep, it's out of stock now. I almost pulled the trigger last night too. Total cost would have been about $1250 shipped.

    A few popped up on eBay if you want to feed the resellers. Since the few I saw were selling with at least $500+ profit, you might be able to talk them down on their price.

    Does MSFT offer any discount off Vaios Zs, regularly? Anything that will save me $$ off the $3k price of a BR-RW and min 256gb SSD will be helpful.

    no they were clearing out old models to make room for the various refreshes coming out in the next few months. It was only on certain models in the outlet.

    That's if you had to pay tax which was offset by the 8% CB so it was really $1140 shipped. If you didn't have to pay tax then it was $1040 shipped.

    Possible the z12 is supposed to be out soon, but Sony cut shipments on z11 already and due to the popularity of the z11 not many places are likely to have a large backstock of them.
