Are there any Sony laptops that comes in 15.4" and is a matte screen? I'm using this for school so a matte screen would be really nice since I really really hate glare. I would also like a dedicated card. Assuming price isn't too big of a factor, what would be good recommendations.

I don't think Sony offers any matte screens--they pride themselves on their bright & vibrant glossy screens. If you are looking for a new laptop, consider filling out the FAQ in the "WNSIB" forum.

    Glare?

Vaios have very powerful, bright, and vivid screens that can overpower just about any light -- leaving you with virtually no glare.

i think i've seen glare 2 times since I've owned my friend.
