This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     Any word on the sub 3lb Core 2 units making it to the US?

    Hello,

    I saw back in November about the new units making it to Japan but haven't heard anything about a comparable US release. I realize I can get the Japanese units from a couple of resellers that will give me US keyboards etc but unfortunately that is a pretty pricey option. I was curious if anyone here had heard about new Sony units coming to the US any time soon? I believe the model was the Vaio G in Japan.

    Vaio G should be released in february, I believe.
