    Hello,

I've done an upgrade from Vista to Win 7 Ultimate 32bit and haven't managed to make it work properly. I cannot burn DVDs anymore and I believe it's a sort of drivers' problem cause I'm using those from Vista as Sony doesn't provide support.

If anybody managed to successfully install W7 on FZ31Z or another related type, please be so kind and help me. Just brief me on how did he do and which drivers did he use.

    Thank you very much.

Your DVD drive problem maybe something to do with low and high filters, i had the problem a while ago when I reinstalled vista.

And do a forum search, i think two people have written various guides/storys about upgrading to windows 7 on a FZ.

Nope, no upper & lower filters result, I'm not so lucky to solve the problem so easy.

As for those stories, none of them helps me as the laptop configurations are too much different.
