Seems like this forum is mostly focused on the "SZ"......so I just wanted to see who else out there has an FS850. Bought mine 4 weeks ago and am LOVING it!

I previously owned an FX370, and that served me well for 3 years. I have had good luck with Sony VAIO's.

When i found the NHC (Notebook Harwdware Control) software to control the voltages for my processor, that REALLY made a difference in giving me control.

The screen is so bright, sometimes I have to turn it down a bit.....amazing clarity for when I do Adobe PhotoShop.

Since it doesn't have a serial port, I will have to purchase a USB-to-serial cable...but that's no big deal.

I've heard people complain about the battery life, but on a 4 hour flight this week, I easily got 4 hours just playing music and having the display turned off.

Performing other normal functions (Word/EXcel/watching video) I got about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

    Curious to hear from others....

    Sincerely,
    Stan
