I'm in BC Canada and no Sony stores have the Sony BZ line, and they all say they don't know when they will get it. (In fact I've called two stores and they didn't even know it existed)

I'm particularly interested in this one: http://www.sonystyle.ca/commerce/se...1&catalogId=10001&langId=-1&productId=1005723

Just wondering if anyone's got their hands on one, or does anyone know when or where they will show up in stores?

I could buy online but would prefer to have the 20 days with the option of returning it with no fee.

    Thanks in advance

I'd do a search here on the forum, but there are a number of BZ related threads. It's a business notebook only, so it's not sold in retail, but only through B2B resellers, like CDW, PC Connection and the like.

Ah ok, that's too bad, so there's no way to 'preview' this laptop before committing :/

Not really. I've been very very happy with mine, and has worked incredibly well for me on a day to day basis. I'd be happy to answer any questions you had on it.

    Thanks Nixon.
My biggest concern was the screen, but I can already see by other posts that the BZ screen is not that good.
Oh well, the search continues :)
    Thanks anyways.

It's not the super glossy screen that you'd see on say something like the FW or the like, but then it's not meant to be. It's still glossy, just not as much, and since it's meant to be a business notebook, it has an anti-glare finish to it as well so you get to avoid the reflection of the overhead lighting in your workplace. A godsend here in a fluorescent lighted building.

I have seen BZ basic model with matte screen. That is one awful screen. Very poor picture qulity, glossy owns.

nixon, how about the viewing angles? specifically, how do you find the vertical viewing angles?
