    Anyone get their $100 Sony rebate from Web-Rebate.com?

    I did the pre-qualification, got my web submission ID, sent them all the stuff that's needed and every time I go to https://www.web-rebates.com/Sony/status.asp to check on the rebate I get a bs error "We are unable to process your request at this time.
    Please try again later."

    So sent off an e-mail to them and they ask
    To which I replied
    They then replied with
    ? "We don't have records on stuff that we made you submit"?

    Anyone able to track their rebates or is this run around bull**** floating everywhere? (not in town to check my backed up rebate submission) If Sony wants to play games like this well, any opinions?

    Its everywhere. Buy it on J&R, Fry's .. etc

    It is a Sony rebate. It has been on going.

    Go and see seller screen and you know what I am talking about.

    E-mailed them back the crap that they wanted me to fill out

    and...

    NOW the site gives me the status. Rebate mailed start of August, I suggest you e-mail them and make yourself heard. It's still "pending" (i mailed them just photocopies of the UPC, since that's what the rebate wants - "copy of..."); they'd better gimme my money back.

    Oh, so this is the authorized reseller rebate. I thought this also applies to SonyStyle online store purchases.

    Quick head's up: Just got off the phone with their rebate center. They were going to refuse this rebate because they didn't think JR.Com was the same as J&R Electronics. There is already a letter in the mail, declining the submission. I was told to ignore that by an agent who got this straightened out.
