My VAIO FS850 is only 40 days old from CompUSA....but this week, the WGA thing prevented me from entering XP. I couldn't even get into SAFE mode.

I wound up having to do a clean install from the 2-recovery DVD's I made.....and then a different problem popped up----which resulted in an inability to go into SAFE mode yet again......finally on CLEAN INSTALL #3, yesterday, I "unchecked" the box that asked "Do you want to keep your partition?"

I figured, maybe the partition had gotten "goobered", so I now have the Full 100GB disk with a clean install.....8 hours now, and all seems ok...

Has anyone else run into this kind of problem recently?

I was worried that maybe my HD was bad.......good thing I have the 3-year Sony warranty that I purchased.... :D

    Sincerely,
    Stan
