I've seen this case on the Sony Style (UK / European) site and it looks quite nice.

Just wondering if anyone here already has one and, if so, would they mind doing a very quick review please? :)

    Info from Sony:

Slim, lightweight semi-hard case for secure protection. Compatible with VAIO VGN-TZ series notebooks (use only with standard (6 cell) battery).

Suede design feels smooth and soft to touch
The front side is made of a core material that keeps your LCD screen safe
When not storing your VAIO you can fold in the bottom of the case and it becomes ultra-thin, taking up a minimal amount of space
    With VAIO embossed logo
    Magnetic opening and closing
    Material: Polyester
    Colour: light grey
    Dimensions (w x h x d): 290 x 225 x 30 mm
    Weight: 270 g

    Hi,

I've just bought a TZ31 (UK spec) and I decided on this carry case out of the ones being offered on the Sony Style site. I have to say that it's a great case. I wanted a slim case and had thought long and hard about the leather case (which has been reviewed on this site: http://www.pocketables.net/2007/09/review-sony-v-1.html) and couldn't justify the price. Also, as I had an adequate laptop/work bag, I didn't want to have a thick case for the TZ. I had considered also the neoprene case (again reviewed here: http://www.pocketables.net/2007/10/review-sony-vai.html) but I thought it looked a bit cheap and didn't seem to protect the screen side of the laptop as well. However, the included small pouch seemed useful to hold the charger. However, not for me.

If you don't mind the light grey colour (I don't think it comes in any other colours), the case is lovely. The case is faux suede. The front of the case is reinforced so that the screen is protected. The case is lined inside so no scratches on the laptop. The lid closes with a nice click as the magnets meet up. All in all, one of the best cases I've found for the TZ.

I'll try and put some pictures up if anyone's interested.

    Steve

Ta for the info, sounds good!

It'd be nice to see some pics of it in action if you've got the time, yes please. :)
