You will have to wait until Sony Japan release SZ93. Currently, the latest model for Sony SZ Japanese model is SZ 92. Its specification is very similar to the US SZ3xx series. So, until Sony Japan release SZ93, there won't be any upgrade to its US counterpart.

You can keep checking the latest Sony SZ Japanese model at http://www.jp.sonystyle.com/Style-a/index.html . Look to the right and click on "type S".

BTW: the next SZ model will come with Windows Vista and Vista drivers. I doubt that they will release XP drivers for the next release, which is why I want to buy Sony SZ now. Vista system requirement is too steep, even for SZ. I bet most programs will run slower under XP. Older programs may not run at all with XP, especially those that require direct access to the hardware.

    Just my 2 cents :)

You'll probably be seeing SZ400's come in around the end of January, early February (with pre-orders before then) when VISTA comes. That's what I'd expect.
