    Anyone here managed to solve Z's battery drain problem?

    I've drained it from 100% to 0% for almost more then 20 times now.
    It's still doing 8% drain charge for 10 hours :(

    PS: I can live with it actually, small matter,
    but yeah I just want to know if anyone managed to solve
    this problem

    I've not noticed this problem on my Z (but I haven't been looking for it either)...

    As far as I know the only solution is removing the battery.

    Didn't someone on the other Battery Drain Issue thread report he solved (<2% / 10h) by draining the battery completely multiple times?

    Did you factor in the charge to shut-down or restart? That could be up to 10%. I know initially you were trying to use battery power to restart...

    I use the Battery Saver Software that comes with the Vaio. It protects overcharging (max. out at 80%) but since I use it, I have never experienced the drainage effect. I use the extended Battery though.
