I received a Sony FE890 as a Vday gift yesterday. The laptop is bigger than what I'm used to, I upgraded from a Dell 700M and this laptop just dwarfs my old laptop.

Anyways, the only thing I'm wishing it had was is an integrated bluetooth. I looked on sonystyle.com and you are able to customize this particular laptop to include the internal Bluetooth. I searched sonystyle.com for the part number and maybe even order it, but I was not able to find it online. So I was wondering if anyone here custom ordered this unit with Bluetooth, if so would you mind sharing the bluetooth card part number with me so that I may order it and isntall it myself. Any help with this is greatly appreciated.

Thank you for the reply. To my understanding, the Bluetooth functionality intigrated along with the Wirelss Card, correct? Do you have any reccomendations? I mainly use the bluetooth functionality to sync my calendar and contacts to my phone.

Also, since the laptop did not come with the bluetooth functionality, are there any extra parts that I need to purchase to make it work properly, besides the bluetooth mini pci card of course, like an antena?

I appreciate the help and input.

I appreciate the link. It seems like that would be one of many parts I would be needing. I did bookmark it for reference for later. Does sony sell a service manual for these laptops? I would really like to order one.

There should be a service manual somewhere on their website which you could download for free.

Great link and resource. Now I know how to get to the CPU in case I get the itch to upgrade to the T7600. I checked, double checked, and was not able to find any image or text about the bluetooth module. It was mentioned in the Fixture list, but nothing on the actual content area

I have found some part numbers for Sony Bluetooth Modules, but I haven't found which series laptops these are for:
    1-805-554-11
    1-805-554-21

I don't want to order much less try it on the laptop and have it be the wrong one. I appreciate everyone's help. I'll continue looking, but if you somehow stumble onto it, please let me know. Thanks
