Anyone know what is causing this problem?

    hi all
i just got my new Z790 and i really like it.
It is my first laptop ever.

However i have one issue that drives me crazy!

When i watch average/medium compressed quality video files avi,mpg or mkv im getting almost slide shows in my windows (or any other) player.

Those files run OK on my desktop computer (they run smooth) but on my Vaio they are very SLOW,almost slide show.

When i try HIGH quality video files on my VAIO (high definition avi, mpg, mkv) everything is OK,videos are very smooth.

Anyone knows why? Is it hardware or software issue? Im afraid that something is wrong with my video card because there is not much i can do,Sony has only one official driver for my nvidia VAIO card, and that driver is already preinstalled on my computer!

Also sometimes when i watch high def video i can see some hoizontal tiny lines in the middle of the screen, this particularly is noticeable when picture is moving very fast!

    thank you in advance
