I cannot get the N-Wireless to work. Always get G-wireless. Any clue?

Simple question, but are you using an N-router?
-
Yes, I have Linksys and it supports wireless-N. I think the problems is on the wireless card settings not on the router. I'm not sure on how to force my wireless card to use the wireless-N

I had the same problem...to get N speeds, you have to connect using WPA2 AES mode...then you'll see the 130Mbps

I have a Dlink DIR-655 w/ SZ680 and I got N right out of the box using WPA. Didn't try it with WEP but aznblue might be right. Perhaps has something to do with the security setting. I see 144mbps on the windows status.

I am running firmware 1.04 with WPA encryption and settings to n/g/b. I'm only able to connect at n without encryption. -
Guys, I'm just wondering the setup on the laptop it self. There are two options here for the wireless 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz. When I selected the 5Ghz which supposed to be the wireless-N, I cannot even see any active wireless access point.
I think the setting on my router is right, but not on the laptop. Can anyone describe the steps into more detail?
Thanks guys.. -
Folks, I too got into seeing my Wireless N to work with my SZ670. Called D-Link for the router DIR-655 support (good phone service) and also got Sony’s level 2 support. When the D-Link DIR-655’s wireless mode is set to “Wireless N Only” (no B/ G), I get 145 – 150 mbps through the Vista Network Status, but Sony’s SmartWi will continue to show wireless B/G and 54 mbps. When the D-Link’s Manual Wireless Settings are set to Mixed Mode 802.n, g, and b, the Vista Status speed decreases to 120 to 130 mbps.
Sony and D-Link’s support explain that the Wireless N increases range and speed, but it won't show any different on their SmartWi status panel. Transferring large amounts of data is very fast over N mode and range is phenomenal. -
I upgraded my router to the linksys wrt 150n recently and had a helluva time getting the speed that was touted. Finally after troubleshooting I am getting download speeds in excess of 150mbps with my SZ 650n/c, with increased range. With the linksys the security level setting has to be set to the highest level(WPA2) to get the speed increase as well as several other tweaks I had to try, but so far I am very happy with it. YMMV

Anyone tested the N-Wireles on SZ-Series?
