    Quick question.

I have an old Z505R that's been working great, but recently when I tried to connect it to a LaCie external CDR/DVD drive over FireWire, the drive didn't do anything and its little blue light didn't come on. I know the problem isn't the drive, because I tested it on another computer.

Is this a known problem with the Z505's and just something I have to live with, or is there a software fix, or is this problem specific to my machine? It's running Win98.

    Thanks in advance!
