I was fishing around the Vista Express Upgrade disc and I seem to have found the Cingular SmartWi 4.01 for Vista that works on my SZ330P/B. I uninstalled the Sprint one I was using and am now using the Cingular one. For whatever reason, it takes up less memory and just seems to work a lot better.

I can post it but need someone to host the file...anybody have good sites to host this?

Has anyone a clue why Sony doesn't just put these upgrades onto their support site? I see that the SmartWi firmware update is available for some models, not others; it seems random, or that some models get more attention, but the effort to list them for each model would seem minimal. Just curious, and a bit frustrated that I need to cobble together solutions while awaiting the final kit to be ready for my sz330p (or is it sz330p/b as it says on the box: does anyone know if there is a difference?).
