    Hi,

Im in the process of replacing the HDD with a Crucial M4 256GB SSD on my S13p. I was following thew1zz4rd's video, however as he has an S15, it looks a little different on the inside of my computer. I was able to remove 3 screws from the HDD bracket, however I think the 4th screw is located under the HDD ribbon cable and I'm not sure how to access it.

Does anyone have any experience taking out the HDD on an S13p?

    Thanks!

As you can see in my signature, I've replaced the HDD with Samsung SSD. Its really a piece of cake.

From where you went stuck: follow that ribbon cable towards the mainboard. You see that the connector is secured with 2 bolts. Remove those two bolts and you can remove the connector (carefully by push upwards on the sides - preferable not pull upwards on cable itself) ). From this moment you have free access to the drive-caddy.

Thanks, it's installed now :) time to install Windows!

Haha, the toughest part was actually getting the back cover back on after installing the SSD! :p

Thanks for this, I'll put this in the video description and the original post. I don't own an s13 so I didn't know what smaller problems others would have.

EDIT: when I get out of a third world country. Youtube has a hard time loading on 0.14mbs
