This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Are the "Snake Skin" and "Polished Mosaic" finishes the same?

    The new Sony FZ4000 has an option for a "Polished Mosaic" finish on the keyboard.

    Apparently, the Polished Mosaic finish has been used in other models in the past, but I have never seen it.

    However, I suspect I have seen the "Snake Skin" finish that is available on the FZ290 in Canada. (I don't have an image of it, unfortunately)

    So, does someone know if they are the same?
