    Hi,

Are there any disadvantages buying a Vaio laptop from Sony's Amazon store, as opposed to directly from sonystyle.com?

    Thanks

    Not that I know of.
There was some discussion about authorized dealers here, but if your buying a new one from Amazon you should be all right.
    (no guarantee though)
Just wondering, why would you buy a laptop online anyway?
I like to have a shop I can go to and complain to if something goes wrong... :D

Oh, and depending on your location you get custom built laptops from SonyStyle... (not in Europe though)

    Price.

Usually you can get better deals at other retailers. Just check the price comparison websites.
