    Hello all,

I recently acquired a Vaio VGN-CS110E laptop that doesn't work. It will not power on - the fan won't even spin. Power supply and battery are good. I am guessing a motherboard as I know the t5800 is good. I would like to verify it is indeed the motherboard before I pony up the money. It appears there is no public service manual for this machine. Is there an equivalent model that I could use that is available. Also, what as a minimum needs to be connected to at least get something on the screen, say the bios setup oor any kind of display? Can I just plug in the power card install the on/off switch card to the motherboard. Will that be enough that I should get power? Or are there interlocks - would I need to hook up the lcd if I just plan using an external monitor to test it? I would like to have the least possible so I can isolate if it is indeed the motherboard.

    Thanks!
