Hi, i've been looking for a lappy with as much power as possible in the 4 pound range, and found these 2, Asus W7j & Sony Vaio SZ120P/B

I can get the same price for both with these specs

    13.3" WXGA Gloss

Nvidia 7400 go (Hybrid system on Vaio - you can switch to intel integrated solution)

    Core Duo 1.86
    1GB Ram 667mhz (533mhz for W7j)
    100gb Hdd 5400rpm
    DVD/RW +- DL
Built-it Web Cam (high Res on W7j)
Biometric fingerprint reader (only on Vaio)

Collected notes: Vaio does not have S-Video out, neither 4-in-one MCR

Help me choose plz. Thanks in Advanced

The Vaio uses 533mhz ram as well. It really depends on your needs. If you want fingerprint and the ability to switch video cards, go with Sony. If you want s-video and slightly better build quality, go with Asus.

No doubt about it, the Asus is the better choice.
I'll have to agree on the overall quality part.

Wouldn't the SZ offer better quality because of its magnesium case?

And Wolfstar, how can u get both for the same price?

The Asus uses carbon fiber and magnesium in its casing.
