:'( I got a MS wireless presenter 8000 mouse and was trying to get it to work with my SZ48 but it didn't want to connect. So having read a few thread's on this site, I thought I'd uninstall the Toshiba BT stack and install the Widcomm (v5.0.1.1200) one - haha, bad mistake although I may have gone wrong somewhere despite following instructions on one of the other threads (I think it was the guy who managed to get it working on his SZ160).

So anyways, now I'm stuck in a ditch. I managed to do a brute force install (clicking through all the 'not compatible with Vista' crap; which I was hoping to update anyways, once the software was working initially); and like I restarted the computer, no problems or errors till it asks to install the actual bluetooth device - then it pulls up a failure to install the UGX hardware?!?

I've tried to select the folder with the modified SZ drivers but still no luck :( Also, I read around that the Widcomm version thats compatible with Vista is 6.*** does anybody knw where I can download this? I'm figuring in the meantime that I need to get hold of some drivers for the Widcomm software to recognise the bluetooth device I already got installed in my SZ48 - but where? I've been searching high n low!!

    Pls help ...

I have the exact same problem, except I reformatted my laptop. There aren't any drivers on the site either.

ok, so i've tried to use the widcomm bluetooth stack (thx to the help of dev-hack manual) ... but the stupid error re. Win 95 INF keeps coming up (same as before; not to mention the inability to get my nokia bh501 headset working cos it worked fine before using the toshiba stack)

mayb this widcomm stuff is a bunch of crap ... i'm on the verge of reverting back to the toshiba stack

    :( :( help someone pls

    I have an sz-220P/B running XP sp2.

I replaced the Toshiba with Widcomm. It took about 15 minutes. The system connects better and sustained throughput is better.

Don't know if this works under Vista or not.
