Hey, sorry if this bothers anyone but yesterday i formatted my laptop, a vgn-s48gp, and installed windows XP. All the drivers but the modem and the audio drivers worked. Im not too fussed about the modem but the audio is worrying. I tried to use the ones from the vaio support, from vaio link and the ones that were supplied with my computer, but none of them fully installed, stopping and saying that "microsoft bus driver should be installed first".

I tried to install the hot fix, kb835221, but the audio drivers still wouldn't install. Formatted lots of times, still nothing. Would it be something wrong with my XP installation?

The drivers worked on vista by the way, but i dont really want to use it, its a bit sluggish on this comp.
