I accidentally left my Z in the sleeve while still on today, and when I took it out it was extremely hot.

Everything is fine thankfully, but is it possible to set a temperature to have it shut down automatically?

Usually you can these things in the BIOS.
From what I've read here it is shutting down if the temp of the CPU is higher than 95°C (or slightly higher).

Try SpeedFan, I dont know if it works on a Z, but there you can set stuff like that (beside alarm beeps when running too hot etc.). If it def. worth a try.
