Whenever I try to change resolution below my native on Vaio, there are black bars visible around the edges and it doesn't autoscale to fit the monitor. This happens with both the built in Intel video and Radeon HD 6470M. I think I know which setting to change in CCC, but I can't find it anywhere. The CCC version installed doesn't have very many options available and I don't see anywhere to change it. Is there a piece of Sony software that I need to install in order to view more video/monitor settings? This started happening after I plugged in HDMI.

In the Intel Graphics control panel there should be a scaling option under Display-> General Settings.

Thank you for the reply. However, I don't see that option. Also, when I choose the 'Monitor / TV Settings' section, I get a message saying 'Monitor / TV Settings are not supported.'

    Update:

I'm able to view the scaling option if I plug a TV back into the HDMI port and mirror the displays. Scaling then works as expected. If I unplug the HDMI with the Intel control panel up, the scaling option disappears and scaling no longer works.

Did you already try press (on your keyboard) Windows Key + P? Perhaps one of those options could help.
